    Smile Makeover

Let us design a custom-made smile to suit your unique facial features and bring out the most beautiful you possible. Dr. Owyang will first evaluate your mouth’s overall structural and aesthetic needs. Using a wide variety of techniques, such as porcelain veneers and crowns to reshape teeth, change their color, and correct their alignment, he will create a more functional and aesthetically balanced smile.

If you are interested in learning more about a smile you have always dreamed about, please contact our office today to set up a consultation.

    Veneers

An excellent alternative to crowns, veneers can perfect your smile by masking stains, hiding chips, correcting misalignment, and creating uniformity. Veneers, which are made of thin, customized material designed to slide over the teeth, look incredibly natural, are long-lasting, and are relatively easy to apply.

    Invisalign

If you want to straighten your teeth without the discomfort or appearance of metal brackets and wires, then Invisalign is a great alternative! By using a series of clear, custom fit trays (know as "aligners") to slowly reposition your teeth, you can have a smile you'll be proud to show off! The aligners are removable, so you can effectively brush and floss your teeth after meals. In addition to the comfort of aligners, they are virtually invisible, so no one will notice you're even in treatment.

Please visit Invisalign's website for more information!

If you are interested in Invisalign, please call us today for a free Invisalign consulation, and start your path towards straighter, more beautiful teeth!

    Teeth Whitening

At Mission Dental Care, we use the ZOOM!(TM) whitening system,
a fast, easy, in-office teeth whitening procedure that takes just one and a half hours to complete. A hydrogen-peroxide gel is carefully applied to teeth and then activated by a patented, blue spectrum light. ZOOM!(TM) whitening is neat and comfortable, and results are immediate. It will not harm your teeth, gums, or dental work. ZOOM!(TM) whitening can be seen on ABC's show Extreme Makeover.

Mission Dental Care also offers custom fit take-home whitening trays and gel to brighten your teeth in the convenience of your own home.

For more information about ZOOM whitening, please contact us today.

    Crowns

Also called caps, crowns are natural-looking covers that fit snugly over teeth to conceal cracked, badly discolored, injured, or chipped teeth. Crowns also provide support to damaged or fragile teeth while also restoring functionality and aesthetic balance. Ultimately, crowns can dramatically improve the overall appearance of your smile while making your teeth more resistant to injury.

For more information about crowns, please contact our practice today.

    Dental Bridges

Dental bridges are used to replace one or more missing teeth and to restore function, balance and beauty to your smile. Bridges are comprised of two crowns surrounding and securing an artificial tooth. They are custom-designed to fill in the gap and are natural in appearance. Dr. Owyang ensures that each bridge is secure and comfortable.

If you have any questions, please contact our office today.

    Tooth Colored Restorations

Gone are the days when tooth ailments and cavities could only be treated with unsightly metal fillings. Today, modern, tooth-colored fillings made of durable resin or porcelain can be bonded to your teeth for a stronger, more natural-looking effect. These revolutionary fillings are virtually undetectable and are easy to apply.

To find out if tooth-colored fillings are a good option for you, please contact us today.

    Dental Bonding

Dental bonding is an alternative solution to repair chipped, cracked, or discolored teeth. The process requires less time than the application of porcelain veneers and, depending on how many teeth are being repaired, can usually be completed in one visit. Bonding involves a composite resin being applied to a tooth to alter its appearance. Prior to the procedure, Dr. Owyang will select a shade of the resin that matches the color of your teeth. After the bonding material has been applied, the tooth will be shaped and polished to complement the size and finish of your surrounding teeth, leaving you with a beautiful new smile.

Contact our practice today to learn more about dental bonding and how it can help reshape your smile.

    Dental Implants

Dr. Owyang performs dental implant restoration by attaching artificial teeth to implants anchored in the bone below the gum line. After the anchor has been surgically placed in the jawbone, excess bone and gum grow around the implant, holding it firmly in place. An artificial tooth can then be attached to the implant. The end result is a strong, secure tooth that is virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth.

To find out if dental implant restoration is right for you, please contact Mission Dental Care today.

    Dentures

Dentures, unlike dental bridges, are removable replacements for missing teeth. Mission Dental Care offers both complete (or full) and partial dentures. These dentures are finely crafted and custom-fitted and will provide support for you to speak and eat with ease.

For natural looking, strong, comfortable dentures, contact Mission Dental Care today.

    Gum (Periodontal) Therapy

Unfortunately, periodontal (gum) disease can lead to more than just an unsightly smile — it can cause loss of teeth and eventually, if left untreated, serious health problems. Called gingivitis in its early stages, periodontal disease is caused by excessive toxic bacteria (found in plaque) that attack your mouth’s soft tissues. Early warning signs of the disease include red, swollen, bleeding gums. If caught early, we can help you reverse the damage or if detected late, we can halt the damage and use one of many effective reconstructive or cosmetic dentistry procedures to restore your mouth to a healthy, beautiful state.

For more information on periodontal therapy, please contact our office today.
