Our Practice
Our office is nestled in the beautiful and historic Mission San Jose
District of Fremont, CA. We are located across the street from St. Joseph's
church on Mission Boulevard, and a few blocks away from Ohlone College.
Our goal is to make your dental experience positive and comfortable, while
adhering to the strictest standards of quality and integrity. We use only
the best quality materials, and stay up-to-date on the latest and most
effective techniques. We do not rush our patients and will take our time to
answer all your questions or address your concerns. Your comfort is
important to us.
At Mission Dental Care, we offer a full range of procedures designed to
restore your smile's natural beauty, including bonding, porcelain veneers,
crowns, teeth whitening, bridges, periodontal care, and emergency care. Our
office also takes particular interest in creating smile makeovers. No
matter what your dental goals, we can help make them a reality.
Our gentle and caring team of professionals consists of a general and
cosmetic dentist, 1 hygienist, and a staff ready to make
your visit a pleasant one. Dr. Leroy Owyang focuses on providing
exceptional cosmetic and family dentistry. Our hygienist, Marissa Waterhouse, RDH, ensures a healthy base of bone and gums for all our smiles.

Our Doctor
DR. LEROY OWYANG
Dr. Owyang is a hometown native raised in Fremont, and attended Hacienda Elementary, Niles Elementary, Ardenwood Elementary, Walters Jr. High School,
and Kennedy High School. Dr. Owyang left Fremont to attend college at the
University of California, Davis, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science
(BS) degree in Microbiology. He then moved to San Francisco to attend the
Arthur A. Dugoni Univeristy of the Pacific School of Dentistry to obtain his
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Dr. Owyang decided to return to
Fremont to practice and serve the community where he grew up, giving back to
the town he considers home.
Dr. Owyang has attended numerous continuing education courses and seminars
to remain at the forefront of cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He is a
member of the Southern Alameda County Dental Society, the California Dental
Society, and the American Dental Society.
When not servicing his patients, Dr. Owyang loves spending time with his
wife, Clariza, and their two children. He is also passionate about
music, and enjoys playing the guitar.
Our Staff
FRANCINE DULIN, RDA - Registered Dental Assistant
Francine is the office assistant, and sees that everything runs smoothly on the clinical side of our practice. She was born and raised in San Jose, where she attended Independence High School.
Francine received her training as a dental assistant at Concord College in San Diego, when her husband was stationed there in the military. She has been married for almost 10 years, and has one child. She will "shop 'till she drops", loves to dance and sing Karaoke, and is a fan of romantic movies. Francine is also a huge fan and aficionado of the Harry Potter series!
NICOLE FEDOROFF - Front Office Coordinator
Nicole's main duties are to help our patients with any and all administrative needs. She was raised in Palm Springs, and resides in Dublin and is married to a master-class dental laboratory ceramist.
Nicole enjoys swimming, fishing, and spending time under the sun in the warm outdoors.
CLARIZA OWYANG - Office Manager
Clariza is our office manager and handles all front office and business administrative duties. She was raised in San Leandro, where she went to Arroyo High School. Clariza also has a Bachelor of Sciences degree from San Francisco State University, where she majored in Biology, and minored in Chemistry.
Clariza loves to spend time with her family and friends, and enjoys watching movies and TV. In addition to being our office manager, Clariza is also a full time super-mommy!
MARISSA WATERHOUSE, RDH - Registered Dental Hygienist
Marissa is our resident hygienist, and is in charge of keeping our gums healthy and our smiles bright! She was raised in Fremont, where she attended Warwick Elementary, Thornton Jr. High School, and American High School.
Marissa comes from the first graduating class of the dental hygiene program at Western Career College, and is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association (ADHA). In addition to being a Registered Dental Hygienist, Marissa also has past experience in the dental field as a Registered Dental Assistant, working in General, Pedodontic, and Orthodontic offices.
In her leisure time, Marissa enjoys shopping, boating, and spending time with her family and friends.
